Having grown up in Williamsburg, VA (born and raised!), I have seen “the Burg” go from small town to practically unrecognizable! I have moved (mostly due to military orders) anywhere from Abilene, TX to Germany. Living in Europe was like living in a dream world. With its rich history, exquisite architecture, and fairy-tale castles tucked into mountainside nooks, there was NEVER a lack of things to learn, do or see. However, as much as I LOVED ALL of Europe, my long-term goal was always to return to the Williamsburg area, AKA: Hampton Roads. Mission accomplished!
As a small child, I’ve always loved people, loved meeting new people, loved talking to them and learning of their past/ who they are. Once I got older, that passion was taken to the next level by having the desire to help others. Whether it be providing dental care on mission trips to serve the people of Jamaica, working with orphans in Russia, volunteering for a crisis hotline or serving those less fortunate via homeless shelter or through Lackey Clinic, my joy stems from talking and serving others. Fast forward to now, I have the privilege of helping others in real estate! I have had the incredible honor of representing and leading people that I have known since childhood. I have also met people through real estate that were strangers for only a minute then instantly became like family! I do not take someone else’s future lightly and am beyond blessed that so many have entrusted me to help them with their journey of getting to their next stage in life. For some that has been buying a (first) home or buying their dream home! For others it has been helping them downsize their lives by selling their beloved family home, so they could move into a home that was a better fit for where they are in life. No matter which side I am on, one thing remains the same: I am eternally grateful for their trust in me.
Most “vacations” (ok, let’s be real- more like an extended weekend!) are spent with my husband, Patrick, our 2 dogs and towing our 5th wheel camper to some cool campsite site! We love “camping” with friends and spending time at wineries, breweries or anywhere that has great food and a great view! But come football season you can find me yelling "ROLL TIDE" while cheering on Alabama! (If you are an Auburn, Florida or Tennessee fan, I will love you because the Bible told me I have to. I also promise to still give you my 110%, but I don’t promise to stay silent on those rival game days! RTR!)
I know you came here to read a real estate bio, but if you have one take-away from this page, I hope it’s this: Real Estate is SO MUCH MORE than JUST the “buying &/or selling” of property. It has complexities that most will never see, multiple negotiation points during the contract period, and numerous moving parts all at once that must be satisfied before the joyous closing day. Closing day does NOT happen by chance. It is only with a well designed strategy, clear communication, effective negotiation skills and a strong agent does this come to fruition.
